Founded in 2019, BANDI grew from a specialist bridge engineering practice into broader fields of infrastructure, offshore wind and subsea cable engineering. Each step reflects an expansion of the same core strength: solving increasingly complex structural challenges.

2019

  • BANDI Consultants Founded

  • BANDI Consultants was incorporated in Seoul, establishing the foundation for a specialist engineering practice centered on long-span and complex bridge design.

  • 2019 · First project contract: Detailed Design of Mumbai Coastal Road, India

2020

  • Beyond Bridges

  • BANDI entered Korea’s technical design-build market and began broadening its engineering scope beyond bridges into transportation and civil infrastructure.

  • 2020 · First technical-bid win: Hwatae–Baekya Road Construction, CP-1

  • 2022 · First railway technical-bid win: Pyeongtaek–Osong High-Speed Railway, CP-1

2023

  • Offshore Wind

  • The company entered the offshore wind sector through national R&D, extending its structural analysis capabilities into demanding marine environments and floating wind technology.

  • 2023 · National R&D for 20MW+ floating offshore wind substructures

2025

  • Subsea Cable

  • BANDI expanded into subsea power cable engineering, adding cable system design, installation engineering, seabed interaction and dynamic cable technologies to its portfolio.

  • 2025 · Dynamic cable R&D and subsea cable engineering projects initiated
